Olive Branch Counselling
is a counselling and listening service based in Chippenham in north
Wiltshire. We are a registered charity and all of our counsellors are
volunteers. Our premises are in the centre of Chippenham.
We aim to provide a safe, secure and
confidential environment in which to address issues in people's lives that are causing concern, with a view to
bringing about positive change.
Who can we help?
We offer our services to all adults in the Chippenham area and beyond,
regardless of race, colour, religion, sexual orientation, social background or
financial circumstances.
We are able to help people deal with all types of issues including
bereavement and loss, relationships, life management, sexual abuse, unresolved childhood
traumas, post-traumatic stress, low self-esteem, domestic violence, anger,
self-harm, anxiety and many other problems.
Our Counsellors
Olive
Branch is staffed
by qualified and experienced volunteer counsellors from a Christian background.
Our
counsellors have been trained in a variety of counselling approaches in order to
meet the individual needs of our clients.
We have a team of ten trained counsellors, some of whom are qualified to
diploma level, and all are undergoing further training to ensure their skills
and knowledge are kept up-to-date.
How much does it cost?
We
do not charge a fee for counselling but we ask for contributions at a
level that is affordable for each person.
No
limit is placed on the number of hourly sessions, and this helps some people who need
to work through difficult and deep-seated issues.
